FOUNDER OF THE WAG & ALL PAWS RETREAT
 

The Wag started as a simple idea and a nudge from one of our All Paws members, Ellie Ear’s dad. Back in 2022, he told me about a dog park and bar concept coming to Columbus and said, “You should do it — you’d do it right.” He believed we could create something that was not only safe and clean for the pups, but also a place where people could truly connect. (Much love to you, Chris, Ellie, Sarah, and the whole crew!)

After some reflection, I decided to take the leap and bring that dream to life — but in our own way. Our guiding values remained the same as they’ve always been: #1 – Paws First and #2 – Take People Along for the Journey.

Over the next few years, we hit our fair share of hurdles and speed bumps, but each one led us closer to the perfect location and an even better vision than we started with. After three years, we are finally ready to share The Wag, a new kind of community where dogs can be dogs, people can be people and both are treated like they matter, with Columbus! 
 

I’ve called Columbus home for over a decade. My fiancé, Jordan, and I have built a wonderful life here with our three pups and our brand new baby boy, Cam. It all began with Trooper, my first dog, who inspired me to start All Paws eight years ago. I wanted to create a place where pet parents could trust the care their dogs received and feel part of the process — not kept at a distance.

What I didn’t expect was how much community would grow from it. Over the years, All Paws has created friendships, relationships, and even families. It’s become more than a business; it’s a living, breathing community of people and pups who show up for one another.

Now, with The Wag, we’re extending that same heart and spirit beyond the walls of All Paws, creating a place where you can share a drink, make a friend, celebrate your dog, or just be part of something a little bigger than yourself.
